If lichen and moss very often affect crops, it is worth regularly, in the fall or spring, to whiten the plants with a special mixture. It is made from a 5% solution of ferrous sulfate and a small amount of ash. Whiten this mixture and damaged twigs to disinfect them.

Dangerous disease chlorosis is also treated by spraying iron sulphate. To prepare the solution you need to mix 10 liters of water and 50 g of vitriol. In the case when chlorosis regularly affects the plants, it is necessary to carry out preventive spraying weekly. To do this, use a weak solution - 10 g / 10 liters of water.

How to process grapes?

For grapes, iron is a very important mineral, so it is this culture that needs regular iron sulfate treatment. Bring it either by spraying or under the root during irrigation. So before you process the grapes, you need to decide what it is done for.

Foliar top dressings allow treating a culture from diseases or supporting its strength at one or another moment of development.

  • In early spring, a 1% solution is used to strengthen the vine.
  • In the case of the fight against fungal diseases, it is worth treating the culture with a 4-5% solution.
  • Autumn processing involves spraying 3-5% liquid.
